The kids really deserve some summer fun, so since Yehoshua has already started school, we decided to have a boys day of fun @ the nes harim pool friday after school!
What a blast!

What a blast!
Baruch Hashem - details to come
now to bed
The daughter will come out - tomorrow - bet your bottom, dollar…
With the help of Hashem we should be out of the hospital sometime in the afternoon tomorrow.
As you can see - iLana is standing on her own - once and a while…
Can’t wait to get out of here - even if the treatment at home is gonna be a pain. It’ll be less of a pain than having to stay here, 20 miles away from the rest of the kids, every night.
Thanks for all your tefillos - keep them coming!
The kids had a blast today playing with iLana - particularly fighting over her balloon.
Tamar slept here last night, and spent today (tuesday) working out the details of getting us the medicine and the instruction of how to administer at home.
I brought the kids in @ 3 - after a wonderful day - Yehoshua went to his first day of third grade, and Shira and Yaeli and Leora cleaned the whole house - and then Binyamin poured an entire box of cornflakes, and a bag of doritos, all over the kitchen floor - and then added a chocolate pudding for good measure.
That’s when I came running back from my meeting…
The doctors in pediatric icu were not able to get the picc into iLana because of the build up of in her veins where the doctors had tried earlier in the week, unsuccessfully, to insert a regular iv.
Instead, they put in a super-iv in a different vein, in the back of her right hand, t
hat should last 3-4 weeks.
They want us to figure out a way to keep the area clean.
Hello? She’ right handed - she eats with that hand - she’s crawling because she cannot walk. And she’s 1 and a half.
Clean? We’ll be lucky if it stays clean for 5 minutes!
We’re waiting to hear what the doctors say - if they’re comfy enough to send us home,or what
On a positive note - iLana took a first step today- it was very shaky and quick - but she put all of her body weight on her left foot - that’s a great sign!
Waiting for the yeshuas Hashem that comes kheref ayin.
